About Friction and the show:
Formed in 2018, Friction fuses the best of ’90s and 2000s top 40 rock with a splash of timeless rock classics. Lead singer Priscilla Anderson commands the stage with her sultry, powerful vocals, while Kevin Anderson’s fat bass and harmonies anchor the groove. Jorge Saenz shredded lead guitar licks with killer tone and charisma, and Peter Breene’s drums held it all together with precision and flair!
With a blend of post-grunge anthems, alt-rock staples, an awesome tribute to the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, and select top 40 classics, Friction pulled out tracks that energized the crowd from the start to the finish. Banter between songs added just the right dose of Vegas-style showmanship and entertainment to the show!
Friction's performance at the Hideaway Tavern last night was more than a gig; it was a celebration.
About The Hideaway Tavern:
Outside, there's plenty of well-lit parking just a few feet away.
Inside the Hideaway Tavern, has a spacious full-service bar, plenty of seating both in the bar area and around the dance floor. The dance floor is huge. The sound and stage lighting are awesome, the drinks are cold, and the food is delicious! And the bartenders and waitstaff are really cool and know their jobs well!
I'd say that the Hideaway Tavern is one cool place to party!
My Take:
Friction showed the perfect mix of raw power, stage presence, and crowd connection last night that makes them stand out in the Las Vegas Music Scene. They're fun to watch and to listen to! If you missed them last night, they're not hard to find.
Go see them, you can thank me later. :-)
